Through providing a supplier portal, we offer a platform where suppliers can interact directly with Hanon Systems and find the information they need on our processes and policies, all the while contributing to more effective channels of communication and transparency.

A centrifugal air compressor is a turbine that forces high pressure oxygen into a fuel cell stack to power a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). Hanon Systems’ innovative centrifugal air compressor provides a clean air supply, and significantly improves durability and NVH performance compared to a traditional dual lobe screw compressor.

The latest generation of electric compressor is designed for hybrid and electric vehicles and features durable scroll technology. Available in 27 and 33cc displacements, the compressors is designed to operate in A/C and heat pump applications, and is compatible with R134a and R1234yf refrigerants. Model applications range from 90V to 450V DC.

A heat pump is a thermal management solution for heating electric, hybrid and internal-combustion engine vehicles where there is insufficient waste heat for cabin heating or when there is a need to reduce electrical load. Redirection of refrigerant via valves enables cooling of the vehicle using common system components. Hanon Systems’ heat pump is in production globally supporting a variety of electric vehicles.
- Uses less energy and increases driving range of a single battery charge (10% improvement at 23°C compared to an electric heater)
- Reduces electrical power consumption by 50% compared to an electric heater at -10°C
- Able to operate with more eco-friendly alternative refrigerants
2015 – IR52 Jang Young Shil Award
A fuel cell glycol heater heats the fuel cell stack for optimal operation during cold start conditions and eliminates oxygen build up around a fuel cell cathode in the event of vehicle impact. Hanon Systems has developed this critical component to address thermal energy management of fuel cell vehicles. Hanon Systems’ high voltage heater is integrated with a cathode oxygen depletion device to eliminate excess oxygen, if necessary.
